(REVIEWING TWO COMEDIES)

  • It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

9 seasons out
"Sunny" begins following four (very peculiar) friends, whose attitudes are arrogant and way too confident. All of the characters are like caricatures that exaggerate people imperfections. Almost every episode brings a crazy story that even gets crazier which is incredibly funny. Usually in comedies we assume that there is a person on the group who is the most responsible and normal and keeps things from getting insane, in "Sunny" there is no such thing. I don't even know who is the craziest and the more normal.

  • Louie
4 seasons out

Louie is a very different comedy that follows the life of Louie CK, a divorced comedian with two kids who lives in NY. This comedy is so impressive because it's a depressive comedy, what I mean is it's the type of comedy where is really easy a laugh becoming a tear. Louie turns his personal (sad) experiences into comedy in his shows, but this is really more of a drama than a comedy for me. I loved it though. This is not a sitcom, it's more real and a really enjoyable experience. Just watch it and you'll see what I mean. (So sad that it's over already.)
