  • Pierrot Le Fou (1965)

Pierrot leaves his wife and children and travels with an unknown girl, Marianne, around France. They live an unusual life, always on the run. With great photography (the colors in this film are insane) and brilliant acting (and of course, critics to our society), it shows how talented and funny can Godard be. I am a big fan of French Cinema especially Godard, he is a visionary with great talent and his films show us that! It's hard to not get caught on his web.

  • The Best Years of Our Lives (1946)

One of the first films that shows how WWII affected families through the story of three WWII veterans who return to their homes and families that they and their families are forever changed. It's worth a watch at least because you can learn how things happened in that time, and also because, in its time, it was a revolutionary type of film, talking about a new problem and not afraid to show it to the audience. If you're a fan of old movies or a history enthusiastic this is a must watch (even won some Oscars), if you're not just give it try maybe it will be a nice surprise of a change!
