'Blancanieves' and 'Bottle Rocket'

Blancanieves

Pablo Berger does a successful twist on the Snow White fairy tail, this version of the story is set around 1920 in Seville, Spain, and is centered on a family of bullfighters. Entertaining, beautifully and carefully made, it's another modern silent and black & white film with great creativity and imagination. It looks real with a touch of fantasy, I was not expecting such a great and touching film.

Bottle Rocket

Bottle Rocket is the story of three guys who live in the suburbs who are trying to become criminals and not making a very good job of it. They plan to do a simple robbery and go on the run. There's an air about Wes Anderson's films that's so wonderful and I always feel really great after I've watched them, he manages to capture a different atmosphere that changes the way we see any story. However it disappointed me a bit, I was expecting more. Basically it's a funny film with a great soundtrack.
