2 seasons completely out, 3rd airing
Girls is a comedy about the experiences of a group of women in their 20's in New York, they are trying to figure out what to do and what to expect. It's not like Sex and the City and alike it has its own unique vibe I'll say, at least I can say for sure that it's more realistic. I'll admit, for me it lost its charm in this 3rd season, it seems that the creator (Lena Dunham, also the actress who plays Hannah, the main character) lost track on her objective and it's not attracting me much now. It's fresh and a bit depressing, it has a dark humor and drama, that's what you should expect.

This series follows a very diverse group of detectives in a New York precinct. It's what a comedy should be and with a great cast but I don't really understand the hype around it, for me it has a lot yet to prove. But maybe I was expecting more because of that golden globe. It has interesting and peculiar characters, they are the soul of this comedy. It's not a typical cop show, like NCIS, etc, it's a comedy with cops (I must say it almost mocks that type of series in a good way), which is something new and appealing. I would keep an eye on this one, it has potential.
